Causes of Black Spots:
Let us discuss what are the causes of these black spots and what can we do to get rid of them?
In the bottom layers of our skin, there are melanocytes that produce dark pigment. Dark pigment is produced by these cells. They produce more black pigment due to some reasons. One reason is that when they are irritated and stimulated by sunlight, the skin on the nose is very sensitive. Some sit in the sun when they feel cold, also, some people go out in the sun for vitamin D.
Compared to other parts, the skin on the nose is very sensitive. Therefore, melanocytes on the nose are easily stimulated by the ultraviolet rays of the sun by which they produce the more dark pigment melanin. This causes no black spots on the rest of the skin except for the nose. To reduce the simulation of melanocytes when you are exposed to sunlight. If you get dark spots on your nose and face, at that time your face looks like dull skin.
Tips and Home Remedies:
1. Hat:
Use a hat over your head that provides shade on your nose, eyes like a sunshade on a window. Use such a hat when going out in the sun. Because the sun’s rays do not fall on the nose. Melanocytes that produce dark pigment are not stimulated and dark pigment production decreases. So, use the appropriate hat.
2. Coconut Oil:
To reduce the irritation on the nose even when you go out, apply coconut oil to the nose. The oil prevents the production of dark pigment on the nose due to the sun. So, those with dark spots can take such precautions.
3. Honey:
Another remedy to reduce dark spots on the nose, due to inflammation and stimulation of pigment-producing melanocytes is to apply quality honey on your nose two or three times a day. Massage for 5 to 10 minutes and leave the honey on the nose for at least 30 minutes to an hour. You can do your work or watch TV with honey on your nose. Honey has a lot of anti-inflammatory properties. It reduces any inflammation in melanocytes due to sun exposure and inhibits dark pigment production. Therefore, the best remedy is to massage with honey two or three times a day.
4. Multani Mitti:
Using a mudpack is just as effective as honey. Get black soil from the farm or buy fuller’s earth (Multani mitti) from the market. If you wet it in water it will become very cold. Apply a mud layer about half an inch thick on the nose. Make the paste thick so that it doesn’t drip down and you can do your work. This is like a nose pack. Leave this pack on the nose for 20 to 30 minutes. Apply it once or twice a day while you are at home. This pack cools the skin on the nose.
More blood circulation begins towards the nose to heat the skin on the nose. Therefore, the cells on the skin get enough oxygen and nutrients due to air circulation. Absorption of all these makes the skin cells healthy. This will also help the skin cells to detoxify and remove waste. So, if you can practice it every day, you will get rid of dark spots on the nose.
5. Drink Juice:
Drink juices along with Citrus fruit juices are also known as antioxidant juices. When the skin is infected, Vitamin C and Vitamin A are essential for reducing skin infections and for keeping the skin healthy. So, drinking citrus fruit juice is also very beneficial. You should drink orange juice or sweet lemon juice every evening.
Cucumber and tomato are the best sources of vitamin A. Grind them together and also add some curry leaves, mint, and coriander leaves. You can grow these leaves in your garden. If you sprinkle some seeds in the pot, they will grow easily. Grow these three plants in your garden and use them in juices whenever you want. If you can drink these two types of juices along with applying the packs externally, you can naturally get rid of pigmentation, dark patches, and spots on the nose.
